Mixed-Media Mosaics expressions in purses by Nancy Laureano are highly textural and vividly colored creative expressions, created using a combination of manufactured and handmade materials.  Creations on leather, suede fabric, recycled plastic materials, polymer clay using techniques such as painting and glazing, stamping, embedding items like beads & buttons, mixing pigments and mica powders with clay, adding metallic leaf, glass and more. Personalized art work with photographs incorporating personal objects, ephemera or found objects to commemorate a memorable special person, trip or event.
